Cell Phone Location Evidence

Description:

This topic covers the methods and purpose of cellular data analysis that is widely used in criminal and civil cases to "place" a person at a particular location based on their cell phone usage. Attendees will learn about the "scientific" basis claimed to support this evidence, how analysts actually interpret and prepare this data for court presentation and how to challenge this type of analysis.

It was hard to follow. I will have to watch it several times to understand the materials. The presenter offering his phone number for questions is helpful.

Very helpful. Thank you.

Great information. Very informative and interesting.

Outstanding course, cell phone location evidence is something that comes up frequently in my job and this was eye opening for me.

I learned a lot. Great, detailed presentation that diagnosed the cell phone infrastructure and location tools.

This was very informative. Thanks.

Very useful.

Really helpful for my homicide cases.

Very interesting presentation.

I felt this was going to cover a different topic. I did not find this CLE useful.

Excellent presentation and very helpful for work in criminal defense. I know the program was taped in October 2016 and he said, as far as he knows, only the FBI uses drive-testing. I wanted to inform him that the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has been using drive-testing in certain cases since at least early-to-mid 2016.

Really interesting. Some of it was over my head, but still a good course.

This program helped me realize that I have been making several bad assumptions about evidence relating to cell phone location. Thanks very much.
