Biography

Allison Wannamaker, a native Memphian, serves as the Managing Director of Mid-South Immigration Advocates (MIA). She focuses her practice on unaccompanied children (UACs) and selected adult asylum seekers. With the firm Lewis Thomason, Wannamaker concentrated her private practice on immigration law and naturalization. Ms. Wannamaker previously served with Catholic Legal Immigration Network, Inc. (CLINIC) detention programs in Los Angeles and New Orleans. She is a graduate of Rhodes College (B.A., International Studies) and Georgetown University Law Center. Ms. Wannamaker is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association’s Immigration Law Section executive committee, and is a previous treasurer of the AILA Midsouth chapter.
