Biography

Deanna Lambert is the Director of Community Relations for the City of Brentwood.  She has more than a decade of experience in television news, transportation and government.  As a news reporter and producer in three different states, she covered major national stories like the devastation of Hurricane Katrina along the Louisiana Gulf Coast and the 2010 flood in Nashville.  The Tennessee Associated Press recognized Lambert in 2010 as the state’s Best Reporter and she won an Emmy for continuing coverage of a deadly 50-car pileup in 2011.  For three years, Lambert worked as a spokesperson for the Tennessee Department of Transportation then expanded the visual impact of the Communications Department by producing video stories.  In the summer of 2016, Deanna moved to the City of Brentwood where she currently handles the city’s media relations, social media efforts, engages citizen involvement, plans special events, and oversees historic homes.  When she has time, Lambert enjoys shooting videos for the city.  Check out some of her work on YouTube and follow her on Twitter at @BrentwoodDeanna and @CityofBrentwood   Lambert is married, with two children ages two and four.
