Biography

Brandon Skolnik was in the Courts’ system from 2001-2022. He started out as a Generalists working in the Southern District of New York, Clerk’s Office, then became a Courtroom Deputy Clerk to a U.S.D.J. in 2003. After that Judge’s departure from the bench, Brandon continued to be a courtroom deputy to a newly appointed U.S.D.J. from 2011 to 2017. In 2017, he was then promoted to Operations Supervisor in the area of Judicial Services unit, in which he supervised all the courtroom deputies, jury department staff, was responsible for interpreters’ contracts and jury meal service providers to the S.D.N.Y. In 2019, Brandon joined the Middle District of Tennessee as Operations Manager in the Clerk’s Office, where he oversaw the civil and criminal docket units, which include the public intake unit, and all CM/ECF case administrators.

Brandon also oversaw the Attorney CM/ECF Training course, given the first Thursday of every month, at the courthouse in downtown Nashville.
