Appellate Practice in Tennessee: Criminal Cases

Description: While there are unlimited ways one may lose an appeal this presentation focuses on certain issues and procedures which, though hardly uncommon, are frequently misinterpreted or mishandled. These include reserving certified questions of laws, allegations of ineffective assistance of counsel on direct appeal, seeking bail for a client pending appellate review, certain intricacies with respect to transcripts and other areas that touch upon the proof and presentation of appellate issues.

This online presentation affords us to provide you with a few things that cannot be done through the regular handout material or during the course of a regular presentation.
