Ethics Roadshow: 2010 Knoxville

Guiding you through key changes to Rules of Professional Conduct
Description:

Major revisions to the Tennessee Rules of Professional Conduct become effective Jan. 1, 2011, and this year’s Ethics Roadshow will provide the most comprehensive programming on the changes affecting your practice. Revisions touch upon confidentiality, conflicts, client consent, advance payments of expenses, non-refundable fees, responsibilities of a prosecutor, receipt of inadvertently disclosed confidential information and advertising.

This year’s Ethics Roadshow is produced by Brian S. Faughnan, chair of Tennessee Bar Association’s Ethics and Professionalism Committee. This committee has spent the past six years working with the lawyers and judges across Tennessee, making what the court called “exceptional efforts” to develop these revisions to the Rules of Professional Conduct. The insights gained through this process ensure that the 2010 Ethics Roadshow will provide you the knowledge you need to understand and practice under the newly revised Rules of Professional Conduct.
