Current Developments
Description: TBA’s Creditor’s Practice Section offers current developments in this area of the law. The first portion of the program will focus on the current state of rules and regulations promulgated by the CFPB, and the fallout for law firms and clients. The second portion of the program will be a discussion of the current state of licensing requirements by the Assistant General Counsel of the Collection Services Board. The third portion of the program will be a discussion of the new Tennessee statute dealing with the admissibility of business records by the two lawyers primarily responsible for its passage. The final portion of the program will be a discussion of the potential possibilities and perils of Domestic Asset Protection Trusts for creditors counsel.
