Arbitration is fast becoming not an alternative to litigation, but as a required and recommended way to reach final resolution of disputes. This purpose of this presentation is to give a basic “primer” on drafting and negotiating arbitration clauses in construction contracts. Some of the topics discussed include Standard Arbitration Clauses, Non-Standard Arbitration Clauses, What Procedural Rules Should Apply, and Location of Hearing.
