Adoption and Termination Law update

Description:

This presentation will cover the change in the surrender revocation period and other new statutes and case law regarding termination of parental rights and adoption. Practice tips for incorporating the changes into adoption practice will also be provided. The target audience is lawyers with a basic practical knowledge of adoption and termination of parental rights law.

Attorney Dawn Coppock is a frequent speaker, writer and consultant on the subject of adoption in Tennessee and nationally. Her practice area includes all Tennessee counties east of Nashville. She is the author of Coppock on Tennessee Adoption Law, fellow in the American Academy of Adoption Attorneys, certified as a Juvenile-Child Welfare Specialist and Family Law Mediator.
