Ethics Roadshow 2016: More Ethical by the Dozen Part 1

Description:

Believe it or not, this year will be the 12th year that Brian S. Faughnan has presented the Ethics Roadshow for lawyers in Tennessee. In honor of this 12th anniversary, this year's show will focus on the "12 Most Important Developments of 2016 Impacting Ethics and Lawyering."

A few topics likely to make the list based on what’s already happened this year include: the ABA's consideration of an expanded disciplinary rule to address harassment and discrimination, Brexit (yes, Brexit), the short-lived (yet again) national discussion of revisiting non-lawyer ownership of law firms, the embrace of Artificial Intelligence software by some of the largest law firms in the United States, and potential revisions to Tennessee's ethics rules regarding the role of technology in the modern practice of law.

The presenter was well organized and very aticulate in his presentation.

Brian is an excellent presenter and is very knowledgeable.

Brian, as always, does a great job presenting on this topic. He makes the presentation both interesting and informative.

This is my third year watching Brian Faughnan's Ethics Roadshow; he does an excellent job presenting and organizing the material. I look forward to his CLE courses.

I thought the discussion on medical marijuana and Brexit was interesting.

Very good.

Entertaining & knowledgeable speaker. Very informative.

Good update. The audio from audience questions was very hard to hear.

Excellent presentation on very interesting developments in the proposed ethic rules as well as the most recent rulings. As always, Mr. Faughnan did a great job of keeping the presentation engaging, and his supplemental materials (106 pages) were insightful and show a dedication to the betterment of the legal profession that is quite frankly unparalleled.

Ethical considerations are becoming complex, with the evolution of modern legal practice. As I attempt to modernize and streamline my practice, I must focus a greater amount of attention on my related professional responsibilities.

Very well presented and insightful.

He was very easy to understand and pleasant to listen and provided new information essential to my practice.

Very interesting presentation--detailed and insightful but easy to follow.

Excellent presentation.

Brian Faughnan was very knowledgeable about the topic. Unfortunately I could not hear many of the questions, but the presenter usually repeated the question.
