This session will cover at a high level the reimbursement structure of, and current and emerging issues related to, Medicare and Medicaid, including Medicare Advantage (aka Medicare Part C or managed Medicare) and Part D, as well as legal issues in reimbursement in commercial health plans (fully insured, self-funded and health insurance exchange). How value based initiatives and the evolution of the health reform law continue to impact legal issues in reimbursement will also be addressed. This Session will also provide useful tips and resources for researching reimbursement-related issues.
