In this seminar you will learn about the Office of the Post-Conviction Defender. Attorney Justyna Scalpone will talk about the what the office does and how it goes about examining capital post-conviction cases. The OPCD is the statutorily designated presumptive counsel for all capital post-conviction petitioners in Tennessee. Some issues she will discuss include: Collateral Proceedings, Common Mistakes, Investigation Downfalls, and Making a Voir Dire record.
