Family Law: Preserving the Record on Appeal

Description:

Judge W. Neal McBayer from the Tennessee Court of Appeals will talk about preservation of error at trial court and preserving reversible errors for appeal. Arguing an error that was not preserved is simply wasted effort on appeal. The judge will talk about the steps to go forward to bring your case to the next court level.

I am in the middle of writing an appellate brief, and I found this presentation to be incredibly helpful.

Extremely thorough as to the CCA expectations of what should be included/excluded in the appellate brief, the necessity of culling the record, and differentiating between whether or not to request an oral argument.

Good info.

I very much enjoyed this. Quite helpful.

One of the most helpful seminars I have attended on any issue.

Helped me alot
