RVU are an important factor in doctor compensation models. DOCs nowadays are concerned with lifestyle so the employment model is going to be most attractive. Recruitment agreements are not used as widely now as in years past. If the recruited DOC does not work off their debt obligation then it is 1099 income. The practice also has to sign onto the recruitment obligation and AR can be in play for repayment.

Interesting to hear attorney perspectives on shifting priorities in the practice of medicine and therefore shifts in client goals in negotiations.

I didn't take M&A in law school so this was more interesting than most of my CLE experiences.
