Description: The focus of this seminar will be on basic construction law and will be attractive to both transactional/real estate lawyers, litigators whose practice may include construction, as well as lawyers who call themselves construction lawyers. The seminar will start off with drafting construction contracts, licensing, bidding, mechanics liens, specific laws in Tennessee that impact construction, as well as litigation, mediation and arbitration. We are lucky in that many of the nation's best construction lawyers are in Tennessee and many have already agreed to speak.
