Description: One consequence of the great flood of 2010 is an accelerated home buyout program of homes in the flood way and flood plain. As we continue to equip volunteer lawyers to handle disaster-related pro bono cases Doug Sloan of Metro Legal & Metro Recovery Team along with Carrie Logan of Metro Planning & Metro Recovery Team will discuss home buyouts. This free program is accredited for one hour of continuing legal education credit and is being offered by the Tennessee Bar Association as a public service for attorneys who provide pro bono assistance.
