Description: This session will focus on the legal and practical considerations of representing debtors in General Sessions Court. The session will address topics ranging from affirmative defenses, to evidentiary issues to procedural mechanisms available to debtors in such proceedings. Counsel for creditors may also benefit from learning about the defense they may encounter when attempting to collect on a debt.
