Effective January 1, 2015 Tennessee lawyers will see big changes to the Tennessee Nonprofit Corporations Act. With several revisions, this Act has had a major overhaul. These changes will impact existing non-profit organizations and new formations. In this session attorney Nelson Irvine will discuss streamlined entity conversions and membership exchanges, additional protections for charitable assets, and a longer AG notice period for public benefit nonprofit corporation transactions.
