A panel of distinguished and accomplished bar association leaders will have a conversation on the importance of active participation in the organized bar, and the need for forward thinking lawyer leadership in helping the organized bar address the difficult issues facing both the legal profession and society. Next Artika Tyner, Assistant Professor (Public Policy/Leadership), University of Saint Thomas; Author, will cover the topic of: “The Lawyer as a Servant to Society”. She will discuss her leadership model, Planting People, Growing Justice™, which will empower each of us to live up to our ethical duties to society as described in the Model Rules of Professional Conduct. And finally Tom Daschle, Former US Senator and Senate Majority Leader, Member of the Global Leadership Foundation, Founder of The Daschle Group, a public policy advisory group of Baker Donelson Law Firm will present a final keynote on the topic of: “Leading through a Future of Change”.
