This session will focus on legal issues that affect school systems and will offer practical tips for use when dealing with a public school or Local Education Agency. The speaker will give Practice tips for working with LEAs, discuss the Family Educational rights and Privacy Act, and talk about The Data Accessibility, Transparency, and Accountability Act.

Overall, a good lecture. Due to the subject matter, it did not hold my attention well. I thought it was going to be more on interacting with educational bodies from a corporate / transactional nature; instead, I felt as if it was mostly for parents and / or concerned citizens.
