Discovery: Rule 30(b) Depositions and Tactics

Description:

Before Rule 30(b)(6) depositions involving business entities were expensive and time consuming. Rule 30b6 was designed to transfer some of the discovery weight from the information seeker and placing it on the information holder. An entity must provide an outline of the questioning in the deposition and a witness must testify on behalf of the organization. In this program the speaker will discuss: What are the Duties and Rights of the Noticing Party, What are the Duties of the Producing Party, and Who will be your witness(es).

It was very helpful.

Very well presented and informative.

I need to take more of these depositions.

This was a fantastic CLE as it was extremely informative and well presented.

Information was presented in a unique manner that held my attention and made understanding of the material much easier. Great job!

Must be careful with naming certain individuals as 30(b)(6) rep.

Very good info.

Please have this speaker present at seminars whenever possible.

Such a dense topic there were a couple of places where I was unable to follow and my mind wandered. This is probably more due to my lack of experience than to the presenter. I will definitely be referring to the materials to implement the information and practice advice.

Fantastic presentation.
