This program will provide practical issue spotting techniques and strategy planning for the immigration, business, or tax attorney in regard to foreign national clients who come to the US as either non-residents or residents. We will address the interplay of US immigration status and US tax requirements. From a cross border perspective, both individual and business entity mechanisms will be addressed for filing obligations, compliance obligations, and planning obligations.
