Litigation

The Art of Fact Investigation

Description:

This session will guide creative thinking in the age of information overload. Investigation is as much art as it is science and this presentation will help lawyers and investigators get the information they need for litigation, due diligence and finding assets. Author and lawyer Philip Segal will share real life examples of how good investigations actually work through search-techniques, database use and interviewing.

Picked up some helpful tips

I wish there was more substance on here is where you can look or here are the type of search strings you can use instead of the very general information given.

Information was good, but was fairly basic. Would like to have seen some more advanced stuff.

Nothing. This was the least informative presentation I have ever seen. It was a 52 minute sales pitch. Apparently, one has to purchase the presenter's oft-mentioned book to learn anything about conducting fact investigation using on-line tools.
