Substantive content fantastic--presentation in monotone very bad, but content so good that it almost made up for it.

I liked the systemized approach to the investigation. One could use it as a checklist for any failure/accident case.

Content was good, but the reading the program made it less interesting.

Good info, but don't read the Powerpoint to the viewer.

I've hired Gary on a case before. He's a knowledgeable expert who's good at explaining things so the rest of us can understand them. But the decision to read from a PowerPoint (which he apparently wasn't familiar with?) did not result in the effective presentation of material. It also didn't do him justice in terms of marketing himself as an expert. It would have been much more compelling if he'd talked more generally about evidence preservation and inspection protocols from his own experience than just reading bullet points.

Importance of retaining an expert very early in the investigation process.

Some have criticized the presenters style, I found it consistent with that of a scientist and investigator. I actually enjoyed it.
