The most interesting part was on new business law trends regarding social enterprise companies and crowd funding issues.
It was good general advice, but I can't say I learned a lot I didn't already know. It seemed to be lacking in legal content, but ok.
I was taught by Prof. Heminway, so in part this was a refresher. It was great to hear about the "soft" side of transactional law, and how the relationship side is absolutely an intellectual and skill component of the overall practice. We don't, and as she points out maybe we cannot, teach that in law school.
I particularly liked the example where a provision was intentionally left ambiguous because the parties couldn't figure out how to allocate risk, and how it was important to advise the client (and other party) that the lack of detail could lead to a lawsuit.
Very little content here.
Online course included only a one-page article. Would like to have been provided with at least a condensed outline.
I was surprised. At first, I thought it was going to be just another showcase but it turned out to be excellent. Especially thoughtful questions and presentation by the young lawyers.
Professor Heminway was particularly helpful.
