Are you in your first few years of practicing law? This new series will teach you skills you can apply in your everyday practice. This presentation will discuss best practices in keeping time, setting rates and billing.

In our discussion we will cover Rule 1.5 of the Tennessee Rules of Professional Conduct. Topics include: ethical consideration of fee agreements, reasonableness of fees and expenses and terms of payment.

As a newly licensed attorney, there were some good tips and advice for practical knowledge.

I learned a great deal that will help make the process of establishing and keeping a client a smoother process.

Useful insights into the need to stay on top of billing as you do work, as opposed to trying to retroactively bill for time at a later date.
