Pro Bono for Lawyers during the Pandemic

Description:

This webcast is part of the TBA CLE's on-demand webcast series, Navigating the Pandemic.

As a result of current events related to COVID-19 and the recent natural disasters in our state, Legal Aid organizations are constantly working to implement new ways for private bar attorneys to volunteer for Pro Bono work.

Join a panel of legal aid experts including Kathryn Ellis of LAET, Andrae Crismon of LAS, Danielle Wood of MALS, and Ginny Broom of WTLS as they examine why it is important to do pro bono work during a pandemic and what legal issues are most common. They will also discuss the variety of ways attorneys can now volunteer and the implications of phone clinics and video clinics.
