A Discussion on Women in Law: Caen & Nashville

Description:

During this one-hour discussion, panelists will talk about their experiences serving as a woman in the legal profession and how it has been impacted by their respective cultures. They will discuss the advantages and challenges of practicing law as a female; the impact women have had on the profession; and how women (and men) can support and mentor women, both newly entering the profession or working on advancing their careers. Additionally, participants will hear about practicing law in France, what the profession entails in that country and culture, and how it is both similar and different to practicing in the U.S. French and English are spoken during this program, with the French language translated into English.
