What is ROI? How is a general ledger different from a balance sheet? What is a SEC Form 10-K? This program will cover the essential principles of accounting that attorneys should know, including how accounting can be crucial to certain cases; how to read and understand key financial documents (like balance sheets and profit and loss statements); and how to know which financial questions you should be asking your clients, as well as which documents you need from your client—or opposing counsel.

Holly did a very good job of reducing all of this to non-accountant terms and understanding.
well done.
It was a great presentation, but I have absolutely no background in accounting and some of this material was over my head. I would love a course that is even more basic than this one, with a focus on reading and interpreting basic accounting documents like profit and loss sheets and balance sheets, especially for non publicly traded businesses.
This was helpful and easy for this history major to understand.
Excellent thank you.
I liked the course but I think that too much was covered in the hour and I would have preferred a little bit more on one topic.
