  • A Look at 100: The Scopes Monkey Trial

    In this session, we review the Scopes Monkey Trial. We will cover the law in question, the Butler Act, and review potential constitutional challenges to the Act. We will then unpack the prosecution and defense strategies to the case and how those arguments were presented at trial. Finally, we will unpack the legacy of the Scopes Monkey Trial and how lessons learned from that trial will help you litigate counter-cultural cases today.
