Biography

Ms. Ettingoff has returned to private practice as an attorney, mediator, and arbitrator after serving as CEO and General Counsel for Memphis Area Legal Services, Inc. (MALS) for the last four years. Prior to joining MALS, she engaged in virtually every aspect of labor and employment law practice and has represented employers, employees, and unions in litigation, contract negotiations,
arbitrations, and mediations. Ms. Ettingoff is a TN Rule 31 General Civil Mediator, Family
Mediator, and TN Rule 31 General Civil and Family Mediator Trainer, as well as a CPR and FINRA mediator and arbitrator. She also serves on the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Tennessee Mediator/Dispute Resolution Panel.

She is a past chair of the Tennessee Bar Association ADR Section, past president of the Tennessee Association of Professional Mediators and member of the Mid-South Community and Justice Center board. She is a member of the American Bar Association – ADR, Labor and Employment Law, and Civil Rights and Social Justice Sections, and has served as a case reviewer for the FLSA, FLMA, and workers compensation subsections’ midwinter publications since 2019.

In addition to her law degree, Ms. Ettingoff has strong science background with an
undergraduate degree in microbiology and a master’s degree in Cell and Molecular
Biology. Ms. Ettingoff also attended medical school at the University of Tennessee
Center for the Health Sciences and has done clinic trial research with monoclonal
antibodies and pharmacological research and testing for renal drug trials.

She is an alumni of Leadership Memphis and Tennessee Leadership and is active in her
community currently serving on the boards of the Memphis Chapter of the Society of
Human Resource Managers, Freedom Prep Charter School and the Harwood Center.
