Faculty Profile: Laurence McMillan Jr

Laurence M. McMillan, Jr. is a native Clarksvillian. He graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Law, with honors, in May of 1987 and while in Law School, served on the Tennessee Law Review. Mr. McMillan is certified as a Civil Trial Specialist by the National Board of Trial Advocacy and the Tennessee Commission on Legal Certification and Specialization. Mr. McMillan was in private law practice until December 16, 2004 at which time he was appointed Chancellor for the 19th Judicial District by Governor Phil Bredesen to fill the unexpired term of Chancellor Carol Catalano.
