Faculty Profile: David Nagle

David Nagle graduated With Honors from the University of Mississippi Law School. Following law school, he clerked for the Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Mississippi.

David was in private practice in Chattanooga for 22 years during which he practiced primarily in the area of insurance defense.

He is currently a staff attorney in the Chattanooga office of Legal Aid of East Tennessee. He is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association and the Chattanooga Bar Association. David has authored a 525-page treatise titled Tennessee Law of Summary Judgment. The treatise discusses cases decided through April 30, 2024.
