Faculty Profile: Ward Nelson

Ward Nelson concentrates in the areas of corporate, healthcare and transportation law, primarily for merger and acquisition transactions and contract negotiations. His background as a Certified Public Accountant has proved invaluable in structuring and evaluating financial aspects of business transactions in various industries including soft drink bottling, floor covering and trucking. He also represents healthcare clients with transactional and contract matters, including the purchase and sale of hospitals.
Ward was previously a member of the firm's Policy Committee, its managerial board, two separate times, and is past chair of the firm's Corporate Department and Healthcare Group.
