Biography

Mr. Bloodworth is the senior attorney in the Clarksville Public Defender's office, with over 28 years of continuous service to the clients of the 19th Judicial District. He has represented clients in both General Sessions Court and Circuit Court, in Clarksville (Montgomery County) and Springfield (Robertson County).   In addition to trial representation, Mr. Bloodworth has represented clients before the Tennessee Court of Criminal Appeals and the Tennessee Supreme Court on post-trial and appellate matters.

Prior to joining the office, Mr. Bloodworth engaged in the private practice of law in Clarksville.  and served as a Judge Advocate General (military lawyer) both on active duty and in the United States Army Reserve.

Mr. Bloodworth received his l;aw degree from Campbell University School of Law with a Juris Doctor degree in 1983. He was admitted to the North Carolina State Bar in 1983; and the Tennessee State Bar in 1988.
