Biography

Sharon Frankenberg is a Judicial Magistrate for Knox County, Tennessee. She also has a part time civil law practice that focuses on real estate, bankruptcy, collections and foreclosures. She has successfully handled appeals to the Sixth Circuit and the Tennessee Supreme Court. Sharon has served two terms as President of The East Tennessee Lawyers' Association for Women, two terms as Section Chair of the General Practice, Solo and Small Firm Section of the Tennessee Bar Association, one term as Corresponding Secretary for the Tennessee Lawyers' Association for Women and one term as Co-Chairman of the Professionalism Committee for the Knoxville Bar Association. She is a guest columnist on legal topics for the Knoxville Focus newspaper. Sharon received her BA degree from U.T. Knoxville and her law degree from The University of Tennessee College of Law.
