Biography

D. Randall (Randy) Mantooth attended the University of Tennessee College of Law where he served as a member of the law review and graduated in 1989. After completing a one-year clerkship with former Tennessee Court of Appeals Judge Samuel L. Lewis, Mr. Mantooth joined the firm of Leitner, Williams, Dooley & Napolitan, PLLC in 1990. Mr. Mantooth was named an equity member of the firm in 1995 and continued in that position until he joined Hudson, Reed & Christiansen, PLLC in August 2019 as of counsel. Mr. Mantooth is licensed to practice in the state courts of Tennessee, the United States District court for Middle and Western Tennessee, the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court. His litigation experience includes defending clients in state and federal courts in a variety of cases including governmental liability, premises liability, and motor vehicle liability. Mr. Mantooth also serves as a mediator in civil cases and has been a Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 31 listed mediator since 2001.
