Biography

MARY PETERSON KLEINMAN received her B.S. degree in Business Education from Western Illinois University, Macomb, Illinois, in 1977 where she graduated with high honors.  She received a Juris Doctorate in 1989 from the University of Mississippi.  She is licensed to practice in Tennessee and Mississippi.  The bulk of her legal career has been spent in the field of insurance/personal injury defense, which included ten years as Staff Counsel for Travelers Insurance Company.  In 2010, Mary joined the law firm of Dowden, Worley, Jewell, Olswing, & John, an association of attorneys, where she focused her practice in the fields of personal injury, family law, juvenile and youth court, probate matters, and general civil litigation.  In 2014, Mary opened her own firm, the Law Office of Mary A. Kleinman, and concentrates her practice in Juvenile Court while continuing to handle family law matters and personal injury cases.
