Biography

Mr. Panther's practice primarily involves commercial litigation and arbitration, with a concentration in construction law. Mr. Panther has over 25 years of experience as a construction law attorney advising owners, contractors, subcontractors and suppliers on the applicability and compliance requirements of Tennessee's construction laws. Mr. Panther also serves as an advocate for his clients in complex litigation and arbitration involving disputes over commercial and residential construction projects. Mr. Panther's expertise includes the prosecution and defense of construction defect and warranty claims, lien claims, delay and disruption claims, and a wide variety of other complex construction disputes.
In addition to construction law, Mr. Panther's practice includes advising clients in connection with a wide variety of complex commercial disputes, including landlord-tenant, real estate brokerage, eminent domain, shareholder, and partnership disputes. Mr. Panther serves as an advocate for his clients in complex litigation and arbitration involving such disputes, and he has handled well over 100 arbitrations, trials (jury and non-jury), and appeals in state and federal courts. In addition to his extensive litigation and arbitration experience, Mr. Panther actively works to resolve his clients disputes without the need for litigation or arbitration, and in 2009, Mr. Panther was listed as a general civil mediator by the Tennessee Supreme Court.
