Biography

Tonya Kennedy Cammon is a native of Mississippi. She earned a Juris Doctorate from the University of Mississippi School of Law. After law school, Tonya served as Law Clerk to the Honorable Armis E. Hawkins, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Mississippi.
Following the completion of her clerkship, Tonya entered private practice with the Chattanooga firm of Grant, Konvalinka & Harrison. She is currently employed in Legal Services at the Electric Power Board of Chattanooga.  Tonya is a member of the Chattanooga, Federal, Tennessee, American, and Federal Communications Bar Associations and has held numerous bar organization leadership positions. She is a Fellow of the TBA's Young Lawyers' Division, as well as the Chattanooga Bar, the Tennessee Bar, and the Federal Bar  and is a Master in the Brock/Cooper Inn of the American Inns of Court.  Tonya is a Certified HR Professional through the Society for Human Resource Management.  She is active in philanthropic work and has served on the boards of numerous non-profits. She resides on Lookout Mountain with her husband, Barry, and a rescued boxer dog, Tillie.
