Faculty Profile: David Head

David Head is a Partner in the Nashville office of Waller.  Healthcare companies operating locally, regionally and nationally rely on David Head as a trusted advisor for strategic transactions including mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures and divestitures. Additionally, David advises companies, particularly in the healthcare industry, in connection with securities offerings, corporate governance matters, reorganizations and partnership/LLC law issues.

David has extensive experience assisting hospitals, health systems and other healthcare providers in the development, syndication, acquisition and divestiture of healthcare facilities, as well as in joint ventures with other providers of healthcare services, including physicians and physician groups. His transactional experience also includes life sciences, healthcare information technology, ambulatory surgery centers and diagnostic imaging centers.

David began his legal career with Waller in 1995 after graduating from Washington and Lee University School of Law. He rejoined the firm in 2014 after serving as Executive Vice President and General Counsel at SpecialtyCare, a leading provider of specialized outsourced clinical services to hospital surgical suites.
