Lewis Jenkins is a partner in the law firm of JenkinsDedmon Law Group LLP, where he practices in the areas of civil litigation and appeals, commercial law, taxation, estate planning and probate, civil rights, family law, and employment law. He has earned board certifications in civil trial practice and estate planning law. He received B.S. and J.D. degrees from Vanderbilt University and an LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Alabama. He is licensed to practice law in Tennessee and Missouri, and is a member of the Dyer County and Tennessee bar associations and the Missouri Bar. He is a Fellow of the Tennessee Bar Foundation and was a member of the 2008 class of the Tennessee Bar Association's Leadership Law program. He was a member of the Tennessee Judicial Nominating Commission from 2009 to 2013. He served on the Board of Directors of West Tennessee Legal Services, Inc. from 1996 to 2000, and received the West Tennessee Legal Services Pro Bono Award in 2013. He has served as a Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility Hearing Panel in the past. He has been a member of the Tennessee Bar Association's Standing Committee on Professional Responsibility since 1996. He served on active duty with the U.S. Marine Corps from 1988 to 1992.
