Biography

Jason I. Epstein is a business attorney and a partner in the Nashville office. He often serves as outside general counsel and relationship partner to companies in a variety of industries. His areas of focus include joint ventures, strategic alliances, corporate structure determination, formation and private capital formation, mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations and securities law issues. Whether advising clients of Fortune 500, mid-market, or small businesses, he serves as an advisor to the C-Suite and inside General Counsel regarding all aspects of business-related law. Mr. Epstein also founded and chaired the Business and Technology Group at another law firm. Under his leadership it became a provider of legal services to emerging technology businesses and well-established technology companies throughout the country. Mr. Epstein has experience in business and technology negotiations from both the vendor and buyer perspectives including outsourcing, Internet of Things, healthcare IT, blockchain, hardware and software development and acquisition, privacy and security, website design, development, hosting and related services, cloud computing and open source code.
