Faculty Profile: Karen Litwin

Karen Litwin been an attorney with the Department of Safety for seven years, specializing in civil asset forfeiture and representing the Department in seizure hearings and Chancery/Circuit Court Appeals. Prior to joining Safety, she was a DUI Court Coordinator and grant writer for three years and practiced law with her husband who is also an attorney. She is a graduate of Bowling Green (Ohio) State University (B.S. in Journalism) and earned her law degree at the University of Toledo College of Law. She is licensed to practice law in Tennessee and the U.S. Federal Court for the Middle District of Tennessee.
