Biography

Currently serves as District Public Defender, 19th Judicial District. Previously in private practice (Goble & Nell, PLLC and solo-practice). Formerly Assistant Attorney General, State of Tennessee, Enforcement Division. Retired with the rank of Colonel, Judge Advocate General's Corps, U.S. Army. Served in numerous assignments on active duty and in reserves culminating as Deputy Legal Counsel (Reserve), Office of the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Other assignments included service as Military Judge and combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. Member of and serves on the executive council of the Criminal Justice Section of the TBA.
