Biography

Sharon Guffee is the Juvenile Court Judge for Williamson County, Tennessee.  She is a graduate of the University of South Carolina where she was a student athlete and graduated with a B. S. in Nursing.  She graduated from Nashville School of Law and has worked as an Assistant District Attorney for the 21st Judicial District and in the private practice of law. While in the District Attorney's office, Guffee prosecuted the crimes against children and was a member of the Child Protective Investigative Team for the 21st Judicial District (C.P.I.T.) She was a founding member of the 21st Drug Court team and a past board member for the organization. In 2004, Guffee was appointed Juvenile Court Magistrate and held that position since being appointed in the newly created Juvenile Court Judge position by the Williamson County Commission in January 2013.  She was elected to the office in 2014.  She is a member of the Williamson County Bar Association, the Tennessee Bar Association, Williamson County Chamber of Commerce, Williamson County Republican Career Women, and a graduate of Leadership Franklin.
