Andrea "Andie" McKellar is a founding member of McKellar|Hyde PLC. Andie has practiced law in Nashville since 1998, specializing in complex civil litigation and dispute resolution. Prior to founding McKellar|Hyde in 2011, Andie practiced at Bass, Berry & Sims PLC – one of the largest law firms in the Southeast – where she was a partner in the firm's litigation group. Andie is licensed to practice law in Tennessee and is admitted to practice before all Tennessee courts, including the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of Tennessee. She graduated from Vanderbilt Law School where she was Associate Managing Editor of the Vanderbilt Law Review. While in law school, Andie studied International Law at Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland. Prior to law school, Andie graduated cum laude with a B.A. in Anthropology and Journalism from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. Andie has experience in a broad range of civil law, including commercial, healthcare, entertainment, insurance coverage, employment and personal injury. Andie has represented clients in federal and state court at all levels, as well as in arbitrations. In addition to litigating cases, Andie works with clients in a risk management role to assess their legal exposure and to develop and implement solutions to avoid litigation.
