Carma Dennis McGee currently serves as Judge of the Tennessee Court of Appeals, Western Section. A native of Savannah, Tennessee, she was appointed to the appellate court in 2019 by Governor Bill Lee. From 2014 until 2019, she served as Chancellor of the 24th Judicial District of Tennessee. Prior to that, she was a partner in the firm of McGee & Dennis in Savannah, and practiced primarily domestic, probate, and property law. Judge McGee received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Union University and her Juris Doctor degree from the Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law at the University of Memphis.
