Biography

Khurshid Mehta is a Senior Attorney with TVA's Office of General Counsel.  His work focuses on a broad range of environmental issues arising under the Clean Air Act, National Environmental Policy Act, Endangered Species Act, National Historic Preservation Act and other environmental statutes.  Khurshid earned his law degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  He worked in private practice at Hunton & Williams before joining the environmental law group in TVA's Office of General Counsel.  Prior to becoming an attorney, Khurshid worked as a chemical engineer with a private company and as an environmental professional with state and local agencies.
