Biography

Courtney Gilmer is a bankruptcy and creditors' rights shareholder in the Nashville office of Baker Donelson. She represents lenders, businesses, secured creditors and creditor committees in
bankruptcy proceedings, financial transactions, corporate reorganizations, and state and federal court litigation. Courtney's experience is extensive, and includes providing counsel to clients on a wide range of matters involving corporate restructurings and workouts, bankruptcy and commercial transactions. She oversees state court receiverships and guides clients through complex commercial litigation when needed. Courtney also has experience with workouts and bankruptcies involving defaulted CMBS loans.
